Does a farm employee that seeds, combines etc for a farm owner/employer ,require a commercial pilot license to spray the same fields with the farm owner/employers spray plane?

There is a ultralight instructor at Bishells Carstairs and I think he teaches in a kit fox 4. His name is Norm. I don’t have a number but call the field number listed in the CFS and I imagine they can get you in Touch.

Well, I am not instrument rated so I am gonna ask. If you fly an approach in IMC, and break out at minimums, is there any need to look down the runway to make sure it’s empty before you land?

The thread on beech talk mentions that one of the pilots was from avcanada. I hope this isn’t the case. Awful news.

There is the Olds didsbury flying club as well as a guy who rents his plane quite regularly at cea3...don’t have a number but guys at the airport will point him out.

My instructor told me after three or four lessons to put away the checklist so i could learn to do it from memory...... I do actually agree with this approach....some what. I am a huge advocate for flow checks, coupled with using the checklist as a true check list. When you go to the grocery store,...

I don’t think it means you can’t have a strip with thirty NM. The new rules just say you must consult....

Everyone I know without their own strip spend far more time driving to and from the airport than I spend snow blowing or cutting....

Plane is privately registered since February. How come the flight school is mentioned in the title of the thread? Was the plane owner getting instruction?

There were some exemptions listed where consultation was not required, for agricultural use as well as 30 movements of less a year, but those may have been in the original proposal. Not sure if they made it through to the actual. And were these made regulations or were they advisory....big differenc...
