Re: Next move?
Who is accepting positions with GGN at this point. The last dozen Groundschools at AC show GGN as the slowest path. And the ads?

Re: Questions on Air Georgian CRJ latest interview process
Just be patient and wait for a call from Jazz, Sky Encore . Don’t make that mistake.

It will also be someone who is familiar with hiring temporary foreign workers. Here's an idea....if you actually provide a good wage and decent working conditions, you wouldn't need to work so hard to find employees that will stick around. Amazing how times have changed in the last few years. Also ...

Just shut the place down. Just wait it out a few months and you’ll get picked up by a reputable company. Do NOT sign a bond with Air Georgian.

Re: Ggn recruiter ad.
Encore has flow through. If your ok with ggn wages why not go where there is flow? That would be a very short term view, unless of course, you want to work for wJ then that is 100% what you should do. If you want to work for AC then get to an express partner ----- any express partner. Not as accura...

Re: GGN CRJ Captain
I would seriously look elsewhere first. If you have lots of jet time there are better options. You would likely make more at Sunwing in the right seat in your first year then left seat there and have a way better schedule. What makes you think he/she is not looking some other place? What if she/he ...

Re: GGN CRJ Captain
Air Georgian is the last place you should apply to. From the guys I know they are incredibly miserable. The place is falling apart and it’s only going to get worse for their pilots as they become short staffed. You would be very foolish to sign a bond with them today.

Re: Air Georgian
With the pilots and flight attendants at GGN now unionized, the costs have only one way to go and that is up. I don't think that anybody signed a card to work more and get paid less. Staffing requirements will increase even with no growth (decrease in productivity). Cost of labour will go up (impro...

Re: Pasco pay
The PML is NOT bleeding them dry at all. JAZZ is a real airline and a great place to work with many benefits and finding pilots Has not been a issue whatsoever. SKy Regional similar but not so much. GGN on the other hand I can tell you is not bled dry by the PML. 1 or 2 a month is more like it. The ...

It's a matter of time before they get us all booted out of there. Flying4peanuts has no shame. Tells you how it is. Spends most of his day relaxing in the lounge. Brilliant. Is that what you signed up for? Get a real job you troll!

Georgian does not have a pay scale. If they did it wouldn't go above 3 years bc you need to be a bit out there to join let alone stay.

Re: Air Georgian
How is air georgian still able to staff their airplanes? This is absurd. One figured The PML scandal of theirs would come to light but these kids are buying it and signing contracts. Unbelievable folks. It's a matter of time I suppose before they figure it out and run.

Re: Air Georgian
They have joined alpa but from my understanding it's still the worst place to work. The few I knew there have since left to Encore and Cargojet. Typical work day is 13 hours. It's probably the worst decision you could make to join that company. I'm sure you can find someone who works there currently...

Re: Air Canada Selects Air Georgian
Where they find these pilots is a mystery. That payscale is terrible and 10 GDO's!!! Unless your instructing or avoiding northern ops this can be seen as a stepping stone to get you by for the time being....AT BEST and even then why??? If your up north just wait it out for the other carriers to hire...

Re: Air Georgian
Im not sure why anyone applies to air Georgian with so much out there. They are currently joining alpa but that will have no effect for a minimum of two years. Be smart about where you sign a contract. Unless your coming off an instructing gig I don't see how you could possibly want to work for thos...

Re: Air Georgian
Air Georgian at it again. Every single flight was delayed or cancelled.
Folks do your homework. Do not sign a bond with those people. If you already have, apply get out and cut your losses. I'm not even sure how they are allowed to continue operating.
