Re: New tails in 2025 or 2026?
As long as Eric Tanner and co are here, it will continue to be a slow spiral.

Re: Not surprised...
Eric Tanner will be the downfall of Flair, if he is permitted to stay. Stay? He's done nothing but get promoted since he started there. I don't think he's going anywhere. Can’t say you’re wrong. Must be a case of one mans trash is another man’s treasure. I have a hard time seeing him as anything be...

Technically still round one. No layoffs previously. Still terrible news for lower seniority pilots. Good luck convincing anyone to come here anytime soon.

Eric Tanner needs to be shown to the door.
Rainbow flights are all good. They don’t seem to be keeping the lights on and his ideas seem to have run their course.
Goodbye Mr. Tanner. Good luck in the future.

Can't wait to hear all the Flair fairies argue about this one but here we go.. A good friend of mine just showed me the pairings he has to bid on for July and I can hardly believe what I'm looking at. His base for one, only has red eye pairings and ALL of them have repeat red eye TURNS 3 nights in ...

Re: Flair Suspending Growth Plans amid Delivery Delays and Debt
I’m 99% sure we don’t use Sabre or Radixx, ours is processed through Amelia. Your numbers, below, illustrate in perfect clarity why pilots should fly, and leave the bookkeeping tasks, to bookkeepers. I won’t say everything is fine but I will say you should shut your yap when spouting off on topics y...

I agree, entirely. It’s time for Steven Jones to pack up and set sail back to NZ, and take Eric Tanner with him. Get back to our core routes, and resist the temptation to reinvent the damn wheel.

Man you guys are so out of touch to reality like its not even funny. Can someone post that pay-scale picture that encompasses all airlines? Pay levels are within single-digit percentage of Air Canada's narrow body scale. -- DO YOU REALIZE THAT AC PAY SCALES ARE NOT INDUSTRY STANDARD?! Do you honestl...

Re: Foreign DEC
Tell me you know nothing about negotiations without saying you know nothing about negotiations? The only question right now is this. Will Flair put enough good faith forward to skip the need for mediation? And that’s really 2 parts, the 2nd part being do they believe strongly enough in the business ...

Re: Commuting
If you have a job, I wouldn’t leave it to commute at Flair. Obviously a different story if you don’t have a job, gotta do what you gotta do then. You will lose most of your time off due to commuting, that is a fact. With more bases being talked about constantly, wait until there’s one near you. Just...

Re: CTA launches formal probe into Flair
Some emotional arguments ostensibly from Flair crowd which is understandable, but in final analysis none of it matters. Imagine if it were United pumping billions into Air Canada, and controlling its board, you will likely feel differently. The issue is control of the airline and its board, not wha...

Re: Hiring- B737 FO's CYYZ & CYVR/CYXX
YYZ has more flying and, apparently, will grow a lot this spring and summer. Right now there are day turns , YYZ-YVR-YYZ, which are popular, and two day pairing with overnights in YVR and YYC. The long day turns are popular since 8 or 9 of those and you have hit your max hours. The max they can sch...

The 737 400s In YLW no longer belong to Flair they have been returned to KFC. But that being said Current pilots are looking for options elsewhere. No communication from mgmt and constant changes. Flair had its chance and is blowing it.

Re: FA STRIKE LOOMING?
FAs were offered nearly everything they wanted however the company wants to pay new hires market wages rather than 30% more than competitors. All current FAs will keep their current payscale and be grandfathered in. CUPE has a conflict of interest representing other FA groups and has made it politic...
