I know this post is about WJ FAs, but look at Singapore Airlines.....their flight attendants undergo a four-month training programme.

Re: CBC: Pilot shortage
I think a few dozen of us on here should email the CBC author and tell him why there is a perceived shortage of people willing to work for operators like Bearskin. I'd bet Bearskin pay is the same as it was in 1980 dollar for dollar. They've heard from the operators, it's time they heard from a bun...

Re: WestJet and Sunwing ground collision - YYZ
Once people see flames and smoke is getting into the cabin, in this case likely from the bleeds, it is time to evacuate. It is beyond idiotic to tell people to remain seated in the presence of smoke and flames as that simply adds to the panic as is completely obvious in certain videos. The cabin cr...

They're making it better for their pilots again! I remember reading a news article about them having increased the salaries and introduced signing bonuses last year.

Re: My First ILS to minimums
How many of you have flown from the marker to DH by hand? I'm going to gather that many have. Fly a piston twin, B1900, Metro etc up north? ILS's, LPV's to minimums in winter every day with no flight director, A/P and on steam guages (well maybe the B1900 and Metro may have F/Ds). +1. Did that very...

Re: Westjet bumps pax after launching ad campaign that it doesn't
Let the US airlines in -- give them slots for YYZ - YVR, give AC slots LGA - LAX. Think that's a fair trade. AC is competing directly with those US carriers your heart desires on international travel and they are doing an extremely good job taking passengers from the US overseas so maybe they aren'...

I called Brantford Aero and they guided me to Beyerdynamic's audio repair shop for other headphones and such. The place is called Trew Audio. I called them and dropped off the HS600, let's see if they can figure out the issue and fix it.
Thanks for the inputs

Aviation Headset Repair Shop
Hi everyone, I bought a pair of Beyerdynamic HS 600 back in 2010 during an Oshkosh Airshow and they've been showing signs of some sort of interference in the recent months. Everytime I move the mic away from my mouth so I can eat/drink something, it makes a distortion sound that goes across to the o...

I completely agree with all of that, but in my opinion Rouge was spun to the public as a lower cost alternative. Where in fact, there is no alternative, especially in some holiday destinations. Name one route where there is no choice between rouge and another airline. No other Canadian carrier flie...

Re: Future of Regional Flying in Canada?
Is there a demand for new 19 seat aircraft? As much as I'd love to see a Beech "1900E" or Pilatus PC-19, I see a general trend across the whole industry for up-gauging. 1900/metro operators buying Dash-8s, Classic Dash operators getting Q400s and jets, etc. The only case I see where the opposite is...

Disgusting. This is worse than I first thought; this airline and crew were reckless and had little regard for safety. A previous video exists of the exact same airplane at the exact same runway and BARELY making it airborne. Clearly the culture of this airline was very poor. I suspect the locals go...

I can't speak for interview questions but probably behaviour questions yeah. Schedule was 4 on 4 off. When I worked there I really enjoyed it and there was overtime to be had, easy to trade shifts and great group of guys/gals. Good luck.
