CPL course and the INRAT were good IMO. PPL was as well. I found though at the ATPL level things were a bit messy, unorganized and redundant. The standard book study was much more helpful. No experience with floats, but I managed to clean my boat pretty well with a power washer. But not sure how that would work with floats and lots of rivets etc. As said above

From 15 Aug to 15 Oct using FlightStats data, there were 369 WestJet 767 flights to and from LGW and Canada. Of these flights, 2 were diverted, 9 were cancelled, for a total rate of 3%. That's actually not that bad. 97% dispatch reliability this early in the game on airplanes that old is acceptable.

I had trouble with the letter from PilotTraining.ca because I was not in the region they operate in. So keep that in mind. If you out west or Toronto YMMV with that letter.

The amount of icing needed to take down a Citation 6 minutes after take off at that low of an altitude would have to be pretty severe, wouldn't it? Anyone who has flown one have any insight to how much I would need to be built up for that to happen?

I know lots of pilots who got started late 20's, myself included. If you can cut working for $25,000/yr for two years after flight school then go for it. After that, if you're creative you can find turbine jobs that pay well in the right seat or left seat light twins.

Could a dual engine flame out turn this aircraft into a -2200ft/min glider? Perhaps dual engine failure, ingestion of birds etc.? Lots of migratory bird activity in Canada recently. Even at altitudes above 5000'.
