Re: SAMRA questions and study guide
Hi guys, I did SAMRA 16 today, and it was terrible. I fail (which is normal for SAMRA 16, according to some comments here LOL). Does anyone know if, in the next time, I have a chance of doing SAMRA 16 again, or we don’t repeat the same exam? It's given randomly by the system. Almost impossible to c...

Re: Getting Into Cargo Business with C208B
I have learnt from you guys a lot. Thank you all. First steps are always the hardest and now at least I know where to start. I am going to have a look "Starting a Commercial Air Service" guide and AOC and I guess nine sixteenths is right, purchasing the aeroplane is the easiest part. By the way, TP ...

Re: Getting Into Cargo Business with C208B
You're in for a world of pain to get an OC from TC. I'd explore the requirements very thoroughly before committing to anything. I am a pilot with an aircraft You're starting at the wrong end of the horse. You need to be a Company with an Operating Certificate, a Person Responsible for Maintenance, ...

Re: Getting Into Cargo Business with C208B
Do you have an AOC yet? It is *slightly* different than Uber... No I haven't yet because, I am still not sure whether it's worth it to take that risk, buying an aircraft, or not. After collecting some financial and operational information, I will. Frankly speaking, this is the reason I am here. Tha...

Getting Into Cargo Business with C208B
Hello, I am a mechanical engineer and flight instructor from Toronto, Ontario. My friend and I are planning to purchase a C208B Super Cargomaster and get into cargo operation as a (sub)contractor. I have tried to contact many of the major cargo companies such as CargoJet, DHL, Morningstar (FedEx Can...

Re: Commercial Pilot Written Exam Preparation
pilottraining.ca +1 Navigation and Meteorology are pretty much the same. You might find General Knowledge a bit harder than PPL. That's it. for Air Law section, go through slides and take little notes. I got one marshaller sign question and recency/currency question, one crossing border and one from...

Re: Full Time Ground School?
If you have any question about Navigation section, you are more than welcome to ask me. I think because I am newbie here you cannot send me a PM but you can email me if you want. I was a PPL student in past and I can feel you.

Re: Full Time Ground School?
I did with Harv's too. If you really want to learn how systems work, I know they are long but highly recommend you to watch all videos. If you just want to pass the CPL written exam, then go through slides and quizes. It takes time but helps a lot.
