Hey Neo.
I had a friend in the same boat as you back in 2001 and he was not successful at Mainline and was quite distraught over the whole thing which is very normal. He managed to find his dream job several months later and is doing just great. Don't give up! :)

First things first.
Fly the airplane!
Get a quick call out that you have had an engine failure and tell them to stand by.
They( ATC )will clear the way for you.
Take care of things get back to them and I am pretty sure you will be landing very soon.

Well I did the interview this week and all I can say is that it was very relaxed to say the least. They are not there to grill you but to find out about you and this is done through these behavior type questions. As for the test...... It is open book and I think it is 25 questions and at the end the...

With regards to that virtual base thing, I was wondering if YVR and YYZ can be virtual bases could every destination be as well?
If you want to be in YOW could it work the same way or are they only looking at YVR and YYZ?
Just wondering.
thanks

Even though I was several time zones away I still managed to get dry mouth and sweat a little bit. Oh well. I was told about the company policies and pay s...

The pilot group are having some information meeting with APLA to discuss things.
CanJet brought this on them selves. People are not just leaving because of the bigger and better factor.

There are both male and female FA's as well as Pilots and ground crew.
The jobs however are very different with different consequences if they are not done correctly.

There are precious few companies that know how to hang on to pilots.
On the whole AC, WestJet, Transat, Skyservice don't lose that many pilots.
The rest of them must not give a shit.

I was of the impression that the 30K was for direct entry Captains who are getting a 10K signing bonus. Also heard Captain at CanJet got a small raise and nothing for the FO's. I can't believe they are surprised that people want to leave. They could have a real good thing there but instead they give...

I believe you had an agreement with AC but you made them PAY for the jumpseat where you did not have to pay to use yours.
Kind of a raw deal.

I do believe you will see another base at WestJet before to long and Ken has been trying to sell CanJet to WestJet and other companies for a while now. Remember Clive can't just say ok we will by CanJet The shareholders have a say in the matter a rather big say.
