How old is too old?
I'm not sure if this has come up for discussion but based on the current job prospects in the industry, if a guy/gal has all their requirements (hours, experience etc) for a regional job. How old is too old to start pursuing an airline career?......asking for a friend. A friend who is mid to late 30...

Re: Skywing Aviation - Red Deer Opinions?
All flight schools have their pros and cons. I did most of my training at SW at CYQF and you can save a lot more money here than many of the other options out there with your training as long as its done right. MRU/SATC = $100,000 +++ VS. SW = $60,000. Sit down with an instructor and devise a struct...

Re: Real IMC training
Not to intentionally go into icing conditions but to have the equipment as a safety precaution in case you run into a situation that warrants its use.

Re: Real IMC training
Typically none of the flight schools I have heard of train in actual IMC (too dangerous?? 200 hr wonders not experienced enough?? clogging up controlled IFR airspace??).......Most of the time it is under the hood in the airplane after learning the procedures in the Sim. Just thought this would be th...

Real IMC training
Are there any flight schools in Alberta that provide actual IFR training in IMC conditions and not simulated under the hood or in a Simulator?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Resumes and Cover Letters Redux
So, I'm trying to figure out how to construct my resume here. Aviation Management diploma completed in 2004. Aviation Work experience from 2002 to 2005 includes GTAA at Pearson ground/airside ops as a coop student and West jet cargo as an operations coordinator post graduation. Left aviation to work...
