Re: Hey there are more then just 2 of you in the crew
How about this? I had an FA on The RJ the other day steal 2 crew meals that weren't hers and she even lied and said they weren't delivered, although I saw them sitting there. I called her on it and she said that they only delivered "her breakfast" although she wasn't supposed to get one. What the F%...

The cog test in no way is an indicator of future performance. It is a base line test that can be used to check for any brain impairment that may have occured in an individual. It does not work as a group test only against your previous testing and answers. Someone at AC decided it was a good way to ...

Jazz Pilot What pay you go in at depends how long you have been at Jazz. If you have been here less than 2 years and get the call you get 2 year pay for a few months and then goe to third. It is very confusing but here is an example. You had PPC at Jazz in Feb 2006 get a seniority number in May 2007...

As to knowing what you were getting paid going to Jazz and not getting a pay cut. I have to disagree that those did and didn't happen. I along with other employees was told we were getting paid one way and 8 months after we were hired it was changed and decreased. So anyone that leaves Jazz for gree...

I can't see how it could have been a hard landing, they were going slow on D3 when it collapsed. I talked to a maintenance guy the other day and he says there is an AD out for the gear about some brackets and it may have been them letting go. I was supposed to take that plane to YQT right after, if ...

Transport Canada medicals do not have a drug test, all you are tested for is sugar levels, that is it. If there is a drug test to be done it is done in house by your company. Even when you go for your initial medical with Jazz it is not a drug test at all. Don't sweat it, if you are being given a dr...

I am on the fence with the whole program thing, but I am interested in how everyone weighs both "experience" and "decision making". As KAG said "Now as for the captain making all the decisions, you are correct, it is their ship, and most are great to work with. But let me assure you there are some a...

I went through those ridiculus cog tests and I have to say I call BS on whether they show what future performance will be. If you read about them they are generally used as a base reference for an individual in case there are problems in the future. It will show whether a person has any sort of brai...

Hey The Jazz medical was not anymore in depth than most medicals I have had, In fact the doctor that I ahd did a BS hearing test in a non sound proof, sound proof booth and said I had some hearing loss. I had an audiologist check me out and he is full of it. There must have been some other problem w...

Ok First I am not a 250 hour wonder I have around 6000 hours. Second The Captain of the Transat flight had all kinds of experience and he was part of the problem not the solution. You really should read the actual reports on the accident. Third, just because someone else is getting a break instead o...

Fline Understanding the fuel system would have stopped them dead sticking it at all. One engine landing with a fuel imbalance would have been a hell of a lot better than running out. They both even said a number of times that "this doesn't seem right", but they couldn't get what the system was telli...

What is with the anger around here? I don't get it, it is OK for someone to fly a float plane in the bush with 250 hours and you would send your family with them but if they are in an RJ it is a no go. Personally I think I would rather do the RJ route, they are an easier to fly airplane. Jazz is doi...

Maybe I missed it but was the overall number not a loss of 5 million? How long can we expect to bleed out this time until it is right back to bankruptcy. At only 5 million as opposed to 91 million in losses is it 5 years at this rate or maybe ten. I love the creative accounting these people always c...
