Once you reach BORID, you should be on the loc, so switch your HSI to NAV mode just prior to reaching BORID, and fly the LOC/GS the rest of the way. If you do that, the autopilot will start turning the aircraft when the loc is "alive" (46 degrees to intercept) and you will "smart turn" BORID but BO...

Alright, but Costermonger comment looks pretty much like the definition of an Overlay approach, that is why i good confused.

costermonger, i believe this is for a GPS overlay approach and the approach plate must specify GNSS on it ( ILS (GNSS) 24, NDB (GNSS) 25 ). If it is not , you can not use it.

I did the interview in June for the July ground school and august sim...they were looking for 12 pilots for YUL...5 aircraft for now but they want to operate 14 this winter....but it will be for somebody else because it didn't work for me....

Thanks Wally, i am saying that because when i did my 604 initial, the other guy i was with returned to class right after his flight test to do a "3 hours" difference 605 course, that's it...that's what they told me but thinking of it, he was a US guy, so maybe it is different for them...it was in 20...

Hummmm, my previous company was telling me that they were doing it in a 3 hres ground school and a CPT.....

601 (CL60) and 604 (CL64) are 2 different initial training and you could do the 604/605 transition in a 3 hrs "in house" course. RJ (CL65) is another initial training. $40000 for each one.

Anybody had worked or is currently working for Avionco....i am looking for some info about the conditions and salary.....
