Yeah for sure a few phone calls have been made or on the side meetings. Did we just agree on something?

Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Updated Purchase Price at $5 per share
Air Canada just offered to the EU concessions on 27 routes including 13 out of Montreal. They are doing all what it takes to close the deal. Have a reference on this? I would like to read that Out of JM Eustache’s mouth to the media yesterday after the meeting, you can find a copy on the internet. ...

Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Updated Purchase Price at $5 per share
One thing I did find odd yesterday was no media release from Air Canada. Not even a statement about the regular crap "we are please of the shareholders decision today and look forward to work with AT for a smooth transition" ... They just put out nothing. It makes me think of the silence first time ...

Re: Cargo TA
Not allowed under the ACPA CBA.... it has to be a CPA on routes wholly within Canada. You know, real scope for a solid operator....Not '' Meh should be fine, they been around for 30 years and PUJ turns seems more fun than YEG red eyes'' Once again, life is all about choices. It amazes me how you ca...

Re: Cargo TA
Exactly. Putting almost every TS pilot ratioed at the bottom et 600 furloughed AC pilots who started not even a year ago at AC for a temporary and extraordinary situation would be totally stupid, and no arbitrator would do that. Arbitrators aren’t stupid, they know AC only really needs what, 10-15%...

Re: Cargo TA
Going through Q4 statements and Transat seems to have 24 airplanes at their disposal. A certain amount won't be flown until return to lessors. Both companies are smaller than pre-pandemic, but there is no doubt about a simple fact. Transat pilots are showing up (possibly) at AC with more pilots than...

Re: Cargo TA
Everybody on the AC list yes... I don't think a TS pilot can say, I am at 75% at TS I should be 75% on the merged AC/TS list, that would be a windfall gain. If you look at it from the AC pilots side it makes more sense, just because there is a lot more AC pilots and at the end of the day, AC is the ...

TS Shareholder vote is next tuesday, I think it will pass. Fact I didn't know is the vote needs 2/3 to pass, still I don't see how it won't go through. I look at the economy right now and multiple sectors, consolidation is everywhere. Bigger is better. As the dust settles and emotions settle, I view...

Re: Service Suspension Notice
Hasn't PAL jumped on Express and Porter leaving certain East Coast markets by recently adding 3(?) Q400s to their fleet. Perhaps its a sign of things to come across the country in many regional markets. Once again, scope. Scope. Scope!!! Basically, AC can't enter into a codeshare on routes wholly w...

Re: Service Suspension Notice
AC has methodically divested itself of the regional sized airframes and I suspect is loathed to going backwards. ACPA doesn't care if they are loathed to go backwards or not. It isn't the point. The point is scope for AC pilots must and will be respected one way or another. They can give the work t...

Re: Service Suspension Notice
You may be right, I don't care if it's a 50 seater or 130. All I care about is an ACPA pilot doing Air Canada flying. Scope, scope, scope. Early 2000's CRJs were flown pi AC pilots. 2005-2006 circa, e-175 flown by AC pilots. Will we see some regional gauge aircrafts back in mainline's hands? It cert...

Re: Cargo TA
Yes, you are correct. It's out of our control and doesn't matter what we, as individuals, think. The arbitrator will have all the facts and will act with those facts in mind. I still believe that we will see something like my last comment. The only certainty is uncertainty. On a more positive note, ...

Re: Cargo TA
Interesting discussion so far. I believe all pilots are coming to their sense's on the AC side, personally, I believe the merge will go through. I want one list, scope is number one and should be fought for : tooth and nail. The real question is : how much are TS pilots willing to give up? The gain ...

ALPA is hands down a better union than ACPA. I would be for the change towards ALPA when the time comes.
