If it is anything like Alberta it only affects your provincial status for programs like OSAP. You can offer the training and remain in the Canada Student Loan program and stay out of the provincial scheme. The only problem is the provinical loans are usually the one that get forgiven. Fee Payers as ...

We had a student who recently wrote the INRAT who told us they are asking how you prepared for the exam and if you tell them that you used aerocourse they give you the exam with the GPS questions. He said that they asked just as he was going into the room. They then had him go back out and they chan...

I would check into your provincial labour codes. For example in Alberta if the uniform is Personal Protective Equipment the employer is on the hook for it since saftey equipment has to be provided by the employer. I know that shell Aviation requires all fuelers to wear nomex when working with fuel. ...

Several Buckets and a hose.

The tradition came from the airforce. Kind of baptism of a new aviator, I guess.

You are right the exams seem to test your knowledge of english.
if the knowledge exams are a test of english can you imagine what the english language testing is going to be like.
I have also heard it takes transport 52 man hours to produce one question. Seems like a waste of time.

Yes the X-11 looks like DC finally released a headset with all the feature people want. But here is my two cents on this subject. If you are going to make this a career get a good noise cancelling headset. By protecting your hearing very well from the start you will extend the length of your career ...

My Passport dried out just fine. Certianly better than my TC Licence or my cell phone. Anyway if you have not noticed Transport's recent motto is "ICAO Compliant". So most of the changes you see now are to become ICAO compliant and align with the JAA-JAR-ICAO way of doing things. That means differen...

Most schools would prefer to hire an instructor that their class one has trained. Very rarely do flight schools ever...
