Re: Big news Feb 7
Just a quick question regarding this great new plan to expand into "The Triangle"...as the previous poster mentioned, it's long been a tough place to steal market share, and it's no secret that the deeper the pockets of your competition, the longer the money draining fight will last...keeping this ...

Re: WJA RNP short transitions
Very good conversation by all. Here is why I will always load and request the short gate into any city. Twice on my last pairing we loaded the short gate before TOD and when we checked in on arival let them know we had it ready if able. Once we heard another aircraft be told he was number 7 for the ...

The Skyservice charter airline filed for receivership and shut down its operations Wednesday. Re: What would be the maximum monthly number of nights at ho
Right now I live in YEG and spend 2-3 nights per month away from home....the rest are on overnights or not working nights...pretty good for an airline gig! So anywhere from 25 to 29 nights per month at home. Now some of those are 10-11 hrs on the ground, but others are as long as 27 hrs, depends on ...

Re: Canjet losing Transat flying?
First off, I have never met a King Air capt. that made 100+k, at least not in Canada. Secondly, people love to focus on the fact that we had Germans working for us (this was their last year), rather than the fact that CanJet has created more pilot jobs in the last few years than any other company i...

First I've heard of this. A few letters to our WJPA will get this sorted out. Is it sorted out yet? Yes it is sorted...no embargo. Period. Jumpseat as normal. See email below from our WJPA guy. Cheers Alright. This rumour seems to have grown into quite the snowball effect. Guys are phoning and emai...

I'll be ecstatic if my cheque will by me the new strap.
So McDoo, you gotta agree with me..."It's all good" right?

Will certainly remember your caring attitudes next time there are 3 of you trying to get home for free and only one jumpseat. I have also sat in our jump for 3 hours to get a westjetter home. Nice to know the comradary only works one way. Will cite the "take your own airline home" comment as justif...

He's certainly well qualified. I do think it's a little early to speculate on how he'll do. The place is littered with the remnants of people that have come and gone for various reasons over the life of the company. Here's hoping It's never too early to speculate on how someone will do, but sometim...

Just flew into YEG the other night and a SW 800 landed ahead of us and parked next to us at gate 60. There was only 23, as best as we could count, (using fingers and toes of course  ) people from the SW airplane. I am not sure how they are doing financially, but with loads like that, it can't b...

The problem is, TC won't certify the new combi's with moveable bulkheads.
