Nova Scotia TDI Jetta for sale
Hello folks. Sorry to trouble you, just a quick word to promote the sale of my vehicle (I am trying to promote it as much as I can, I need to sell it). I realise this is not the perfect forum to do this, but I figured the classified forum was even more inapropriate. Here is the kijiji link for those...

a Scotsman driving through Europe and an Englishman driving in the opposite direction. In the middle of the night, with no other cars on the road they hit each other head on and both cars go flying off in different directions. The Scotsman manages to climb out of his car and survey the damages. He l...

Just a quick note, asking here does not imply that I have not asked elsewhere. You are right when you mention it is a very important step in a career. I try and get all the info I can, from every source that I can, for important things like this. There's a wealth of knowledge and experience in these...

Sorry, I should have been more precise. Actually, I probably used the wrong terms. Crew check ride may be what applies more in this case. What I meant was a TC ride where the right seat pilot gets checked while his captain is in the left seat, and the examiner is somewhere in the back (I immagine...)

Crew PPC
Quick question for the ones out there who have more experience or who've been in a crew PPC recently. What can one expect, what should I focus my knowledge on, and if I am going to be in the right seat what is expected of me, and how much intervention can the captain have before you are considered a...

I've noticed something. We all talk about risk of SEIFR vs Twin IFR over terrain where you can't safely glide if you lose an engine. What I am wondering is do we have a numbers comparison between the percentage of chance that an approved SEIFR A/C will lose it's engine vs the percentage of chance th...

I was having this SEIFR debate with a friend and the only thing we managed to agree on was that the older the pilot was, the more he was inclined to refuse SEIFR. The younger the pilot was the more the stats on SEIFR seemed to be enough to convince them of the safety of the practice. Maybe this is o...

A true Canadian
It's Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, and a man makes his way to his seat right at center ice. He sits down, noticing that the seat next to him is empty. He leans over and asks his neighbor if someone will be sitting there. "No," says the neighbor. "The seat is empty." "This is incredible", said the...

Norris instead decided to punch his way out of his mother's womb. Shortly thereafter he grew a beard. . Norris sold his soul to the devil for his rugged g...

Which one would you work for?
Which of these companies would you work for on the ramp if you were just starting off as a pilot all things considered (type of experience, number of hours, wait time before flying, conditions once a pilot, current market etc....)

Thank you for the words of encouragement. I do know that my story is not a special one and a lot of piltos have been through the same thing, and probably worst. You know what, maybe I should. However, there isn't that much I can bring since I still consider myself a newbie even though I've been trying to break through in this industry for some time now. But if there's something I can share, I will. So start with where you are, and what you eventually want ...
