Re: Air Canada video Interview
I heard there was a second PFO letter out there that did not mention anything about 6 months. I believe that if you got the 6 month version, you're good, they're just not ready for you. If you got the other version of the letter, you might not have the things they're looking for. who did you hear t...

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
Jeez beaver, if your interview is anything like how you post, I wonder why you got pfo'd so quickly  i also wonder why training captains got pfo'd too after few days. The same has happened to my colleagues last year.... i have no bad records, no failures, got my upgrade within a year...i do n...

Re: Air Canada video Interview
So uh Beaver, what questions did they ask? 18 questions were yes/no answer, like "do you hold an ATPL?" "have you had any incident?" etc basically all these questions are already answered when you create a profile in the career section. 4 were "tell us about your experience" "tell us a difficult ti...

Re: Air Canada video Interview
Did you copy and paste that into multiple threads? Why are you so butthurt? There are many telltale signs and indicators and non verbal cues that can be noted from those short video recordings. They compile that information with some background checks (social media) and can determine plenty about s...

i got pfo'd after 4 days from my video interview.... based on 18 questions that had to be answered with a yes or no, and 4 open questions. how can you evaluate someone just like that? i have aviation degree, glass cockpit and jet experience and 5000hrs total and have been working in the Air Canada ...

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
Don't take it personally. I know of several pilots at Jazz who had 10,000+ hours, aviation college diploma and 10-20 years of flying AC's own friggin' passengers safely from A to B that were turned down. It all boils down to there being more applicants than positions available. it is not personal a...

Re: Air Canada video Interview
This is not meant to be rude but you should probably brush up on your English skills. Learn how to use capital letters and spellcheck. Good Afternoon, I heard AC is sending invitations for the video-interview. I have been looking on internet for valuable information regarding the time given to answ...

hi dash, do you remember some questions?dashtrash1 wrote:Yeah the PML guys are doing the video "interviews" as well.
Pretty straight forward...you answer prerecorded questions, the majority are yes and no, with a few situational questions at the end, took about 15 minutes.
