Re: In 2023, would you go Jazz or encore if WJ mainline isn't your end goal?

Can’t say at present time I would go to either. The deductions on payroll at Jazz make buying a box of KD impossible (no I’m not kidding, ask around). At Encore, you are entering into one of the most toxic companies in the country, a company that has proven time and again it just does not give two ...

Re: In 2023, would you go Jazz or encore if WJ mainline isn't your end goal?

Oh young grasshopper, nothing is guaranteed in Aviation. Also, it is that exact thought why the company won’t pony up and pay pilots more money. That's fair but if you only had these two choices, where would you go? Can’t say at present time I would go to either. The deductions on payroll at Jazz m...

Re: In 2023, would you go Jazz or encore if WJ mainline isn't your end goal?

Hi, Anticipating offers from both jazz and encore as I'm at the final stages of application, late 1300 tt 704 op, have all the PIC time for ATPL just waiting on reaching tt. Would you go to encore or jazz in 2023 if AC/flair/cargojet is your end goal? Encore seems like a no brainer in terms of pay ...

Re: How many people do you think fail sim eval?

The simeval is way easier that it was in 2018. Noting complicated. Just talk to you partner during the eval and take the decision together. You'll be fine. Oh and if you have also applied to Encore or another 705, feel free to leave Jazz, it's not worth the hassle especially when everybody is payin...

Re: How many people do you think fail sim eval?

Respectfully, why does it matter? Knowing the answer to this will only make you feel either more stressed than you did before, or invincible, neither of which will benefit you. Fly it like an airplane, demonstrate solid CRM skills, and know your IFR procedures. It's the same for every sim eval. I a...

How many people do you think fail sim eval?

In your opinion, what is the success rate for sim eval? I've gone through several forum posts and it seems the success rate is pretty high but some people are still failing their sim eval

Re: New hire bids

Did you apply to encore? Higher starting pay and much quicker path to AC. Hey, I saw your earlier response as well before it got removed, my colleagues who go into jazz after interview were called 1-2 days after the interview, however, that was 3 months ago. Maybe sim is too booked and they're wait...

Any response? Hey man, negative. I'm losing all hope now. I think the PFO is coming, did my interview on the 18th and its been 4 business days since. What are your thoughts? Looking bleak? Re: New hire bids

After HR Interview I've heard 1-3 days on average if they select. 3-5 weeks if PFOed. Hopefully u should get a reply by tomorrow. Best of LUCK The HR said 5-10 business days to expect a reply. I really hope I don’t get a PFod. That’s why I’m getting anxious because it’s day 2 now lol Any response? ...
