Re: Winning "Spirit" here.
I thought 2 and older you need your own seat? Sitting on a pregnant woman's lap doesn't look safe and is more of a issue than the mask. I'm not up to speed on current rules...just trying to use common sense.

Re: SeaTac stolen plane
The air traffic control audio you are listening to is not the complete tape of a specific frequency. It jumps around from tower to departure and approach. I'm quite sure whatever frequency Richie showed up on was sterilized and all other traffic moved to another freq. What we are able to hear may onl...

Re: New pot legislatiion brings on talk of pilot pee in a cup
Just hope your not in a incident/accident. Test result positive , pilot had THC in system. Doesn't matter if it's legal, how long you smoked it, public opinion and your boss will probably kick you to the curb in no time....for the first few years at least.

Re: Interesting
I had a interesting flight test for my PPL many years ago. The guy wanted me tp descend all the way down to the field for a forced landing but I refused. When we got back to the airport he wanted to see me make the field from the downwind. Instead of reducing the throttle to idle he pulls the mixtur...

Re: Pathetic Pearson Airport
That is a problem area that needs to be looked at. I also think departure/arrival slot times have to be addressed. When you have C208's arriving at the maximum peak arrival time mixed in with 777's it seems to be poor management by GTAA. Same with 50 Depatures at 9am. Maybe have someone depart at 8:...

Re: Pathetic Pearson Airport
My ultimate piss off came on Monday when someone forgot to tell Nav Canada that airlines don't shut down on holidays. I mean come on, single takeoff and land runways!!!! When we lined up for 23 we had 11 behind us and building. Then add on the storm system that came through and boom Ground Stop. I ...

Re: The 'Mexican game': How Air Transat misled passengers and aviation officials
I remember the days of Air Transat L101's inbound from Europe to CYYZ with no gas. Initial flight plan to CYUL, refile if the winds were light and show up at CYYZ on fumes during rush hour/ construction/ thunderstorms . Lots of fun, the other airlines would take delays as we fit these" low on fuel''...

Re: New Phraseology for SIDs and STARs: Beginning April 27, 2017
The ATC altitude trumps the star restriction. If ATC doesn't clear you at or below a restriction you obviously can't meet the restriction. They probably should have stated in the clearance to delete the restriction but maybe due to traffic volume or the traffic underneath you being obvious it was om...

Re: What would you do? Engine Failure over Toronto City @ 2500 ft
Think it happened to one of the traffic reporters a few years ago. He put it down in a park or soccer field. The way Toronto drivers operate I'd stay away from the roads

Might have been the proceeding aircraft that landed ahead of the A321
