Re: Any US Visa success stories?
Visit the official website of the US Consulate and fill out the electronic form DS-160. This is a mandatory step and requires the provision of personal information, travel details, and other details. Also, try to get a tourist visa first and visit the place where you want to go. I usually do this wh...

Re: AC 15 Loading Question
I've got to ask because you've asked an odd question, why do you ask? With large jets things aren't always as simple as loading on aircraft to MTOW and going flying. The AC's 777-200LR's have a MTOW of 344,730 Kg, but a Max landing weight of 223,167 Kg, off the top of my head the burn from YYZ-HKG ...

AC 15 Loading Question
I am wondering if any 777 pilots on here would be able to tell me if AC15 every operates at MTOW with the 77L. Since YYZ-HKG is well within the aircraft's range, I would think not, despite heavy cargo loads. Can anyone say definitively if it is ever at MTOW departing YYZ?

Calm Air Questions
Hello, I'm looking at Calm Air and have a few questions - if someone could answer them, especially pilots for the company, that would be great. 1. What are the hiring requiements? 2. Is there a contract/training bond (2 or 3 years?) 3. Does the airline provide uniform? Any other pilots benefits on t...

Bless the troops but they are NOT fighting for our freedom. NO 2nd or 3rd world country has the ability to invade USA or Canada. Ony the big guys like China or Russia (who both have ,or use a lot of oil like us). They are the real emenies and we may well fight them over oil. And we could lose. China...

Ahh, so it this anything like the "grave threat" from Iraq's imaginary WMDs? That cost 10,000's of lives but we GOT THE OIL! Anyone remember that lil old thing called mutually assured destruction back in the 60s? As if a 2nd or 3rd world country would stand a chance against a 1st world military. Poo...

Not all rampies are thieves. I dont know of any from any airports I've worked at. And a small addition to the comment about them only lifting carry-ons. In saskatoon the screeners make the passengers lift their own checked baggage onto a metal slide that goes to the bag room. This is for NWA's self...

FYI in 2003 Stephen Harper was invited to the Bilderberg meeting. It is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilderberg_Group Sounds like they were grooming "their" man to run Canada. Do you honestly believe that the regular millionaires and billionaires who go to Bilderberg wake up each day and think abou...

Yeah I saw that too. A great and disgusting read. Tell me, how come an apparently experienced captain (or in this case the FO was flying) would not want to view load data before trimming the airplane for takeoff? Mildly suicidal? Or maybe the 10 hour duty day and 30+ degree heat got to the brain? (O...
