Re: Did Air Canada pilots really take concessions in this negotiating climate?
It doesn't come across to me as complaining. Maybe just statement of fact or one's perspective. What does come across as complaining are your semantics and carrying on about it. Just let it go. You don't work at WestJet, you don't work at Sunwing, you don't work at AC. so why are you in an AC threa...

Probably after the strike, the management team will be flushed then the stock will start rising. Stock buybacks next year will help as well.

Re: Westjet vs Porter E2 YVR
Some US companies and AC to an extent are upgrading much more junior pilots because the pay and lifestyle are a little too good as FO wide body. The pay and lifestyle are not too good as a Wide Body FO. The problem is the pay and lifestyle of a NB captain is brutal in comparison. There needs to be ...

Re: Has anyone got a job with an open work permit? PWGP!
Hi to all. I'm a South American pilot with a plan to go study in Canada for 2 years. After graduation, I will be eligible for a 2-year open work permit (PGWP). I plan to convert my FAA licenses to TC while studying since there's no flying required. Has anyone got a job as a pilot (other than flight...

Re: Air Canada pilots should negotiate at least to match Envoy and Medevac
What is sad is non pilots trolling pilot forums. Like how much of a loser do you have to be? I'm not on welders forums, doctors forums, or accounting forums. And the fact that these posters post SO MUCH, its like they are unemployed sitting on the government tit or something.

I think you saw unity last week. To come on here as a keyboard warrior to say otherwise is delusional. Must be left over ACPA scum.

Vote on the conditions of today, not an imaginary future that MAY NOT even happen. To all the yes voters out there, if you were guaranteed sunshine and roses in the economy for the next ten years would you still vote yes on this MOS? Think about it like that and see how you would feel about it So w...

Re: Negotiations
If AC wants a quick and enduring fix - do a good deal with the AC pilots and do it soon. If the strategy is that the Feds will ride to the rescue, it is a flawed strategy. Much damage will be done between now and then and the pilots will remember every day they go to work if they got screwed. Get o...

Not only are these folks a DISGRACE. They legitimately think they did a good job. Talk about delusional. And now they are on the private forums working against their peers. Failure is really hard to accept. Especially when over 4000 of your peers conciser you and your work a failure. These folks wil...

Re: Negotiations
The reason it didn't work at Encore is because they have a completely different demographic there, with the majority of the senior pilots(Captains) at Mainline Westjet nowhere near retirements. Current upgrade times at mainline Westjet are in the 8-12 year range . Narrowbody Captains at AC are curr...

Funny how these Transat rumours always surface at concessionary votes from the YUL FB page. If anyone actually read the EU decision and demands Transat would never be mentioned again.

Wow Great unity show by the AC pilots for the junior pilot. The 4 years flat pay stay.
