Wondering if anyone in the Ottawa area would happen to have and be willing to sell a Q400 cockpit poster. I’ll need one to practice flows

Re: Potential interview questions??
All jokes aside. It really depends what kind of organization your going to interview with... From a small 703 ops (starting out) usually you can expect a casual conversation, mainly just getting to getting to know who you are and seeing if you’d be a good fit... In larger 703/704/705 with an HR depa...

Re: ATPL Books: Aviation and Meteorology: Weather Fundamentals
I’ve heard it’s a good book... I myself used the ACWM and found it had all the info needed for the wx theory portion of the Samra. I just wrote the A’s in December.

Re: turbine single otter vs cessna caravan amphibian
If takeoff distance isnt an issue I'd take the Van. Like said, much faster and comfortable. Passengers love it. Biggest peave are the seats, installing/removing them and they take up space. So say if you have to drop off a bunch of freight someplace and pickup 9 passengers on the other end, your gon...

Bamaji Air operates a C-185 in Staunton/Savant Lakes. It is available for charter work in the area. We also have a full rack STC'ed Beaver that is available to fly boats, canoes and lumber with passengers.

Re: 703 use of Actual Weights
I'm talkin about the actual airplane. We run a 182, 185, Found, beavers, and caravans. We have to use actual or volunteered weights in the 182, 185 and found since their max certified pax seating capacity is 1-4. Segmented can only be applied to the beaver and caravan...

Re: 703 use of Actual Weights
I'd like to just use segmented weights and be done with it. However, for A/C with 1-4 pax the chart says use actual or volunteered weights.Volunteered weights need a "training program" as well. We operate A/C with 3-9 pax seats. Best bet is just throw a weight scale in the back of each plane and use...
