Re: Aviation medicals are requiring extra testing
Peer review is a bunch of idiots in a room agreeing on the on thing that is idiotic. It doesn’t validate anything except their idiocy. I'm glad people like you are not running the world, we would be back as Cavemen. Yes! That time when they were afraid of fire like animals, even if they had the int...

Re: Was it an Engine Failure
Soooooooooo many? Why is it soooooooooooooooo difficult for the PM to hold the power levers after takeoff? Why is maximum power after the call of engine failure sooooooooooooooooooooo hard to do? I don't know about their SOPs but as PF you are supposed to remove your hands from the power levers pas...

Re: Adverse Reactions Poll
81 people know 6 people who died related to the injections. Your poll is useless because before you modified it, I was one of the dead! It is proof that you are as gullible as we all think, that’s it! Lol, I did the same and voted dead as according to Jerry those who received some vaccination shoul...

Re: Adverse Reactions Poll
Well it's a fact that at one point, zero Canadians were wearing seat belts and 100 percent of road accident people in hospital were not wearing seat belt, and then at some point the majority of people were wearing seat belts , and eventually most people were. The along this timeline eventually the ...

I was more thinking about pre-departure top of the wing contamination compounded with maybe some ice collected on the leading edges once moving fast enough.
It's really just a supposition out of many.

Re: Adverse Reactions Poll
Is it possible to add a choice in the poll for those that never had any experimental injections, never ever had a flu shot, have'nt been sick since before the "pandemic", and are 50+ age category? I've been in fine health since while EVERYONE who I know that is double jabbed has had covid twice, wi...

Re: Post vaccination drama, deaths and Jerry...
The nurses forum on Reddit should have been a fucking compelling reading during Covid for all the nay-sayers living in cocoon land. It had some really, really sad reading straight from people ridding the front line at the time. This being said, yes healthcare needs improvements, so does education a...

Re: ATC Failure - Alaska Airlines - Horrible ATC service
I believe you guys are making a mountain out of a mole hill. I’ve had to declare an emergency twice with US ATC. Both times the sheer mention of “stoping climb 2XX requesting block XXX declaring an emergency at this time” *Poof* Dedicated controller, gave them POB, fuel and in both cases no DG’s. R...

Financial freedom happens when the kids becomes really independent.
Do the two of you above have (Grownup) Kids? If yes I applaud your personal net worth.

How about not being able to post link or send PM when the account is under 10 posts?
That’s the policy of some forums.

Re: Are there a lot of shills at Transat?
I was shocked reading the other AT thread. A bond, at an airline of this size, to fly a heavy?! Embarassing. Even Encore doesn't have a bond, and they've lost half their pilots in the last couple of years! Amazing ALPA condones it. Even more embarrassing is the starting pay at Air Canada  But ...

Re: A bank's perspective on the pilot shortage
When the cost of a part goes up, or the cost of fuel goes up, the airline, just has to suck it up and pay it. You mean clients (Passengers) Will have to suck it up and pay for it!? That's where the ball will roll at the very end no? The money have to come from somewhere somehow. https://gifdb.com/i...

Re: How to postone an offer?
You apply to several companies. They have different timelines. You would like to get as many offers as possible to be able to compare them. How do you delay answering an offer that comes earlier than the others? Is it acceptable to say "Thank you for the offer, I will give you a response in 1/2/4 w...

Looks like the pilot has not made it home! Sad deal! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nduga_hostage_crisis https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-07-06/joko-widodo-papua-nz-pilot-hostage-saga-philip-mehrtens/102565742 Maybe try wording things differently, like it looks like the pilot is still being held.
