Made 4.5 a month with accommodations first year on a Beaver with 4K total time, 2010. Made 5.5 the following year and 6-7.5 after that. Have made between 6.5 and 11K a month on an Otter.

I've been quite concerned about this accident, so much so, I terminated my Otter position for next summer. Other issues, ie: maintenance, contributed to the decision.

I’m flying 703 at a base that also has 704. Several cojos have moved on to the green pastures that all are looking for with 900-1200 hours. Mind you their experience in my opinion is top of the line with turbine and no auto pilot.

We have one that allows loading on one side only. I have flown other operators with straight floats that have loading allowed on both sides.

Wondering if anyone knows of an external load STC that allows loading on both sides? Canoes? Whip amphibs 8000A’s with a -34 up front.

Audiogram done today. The Doc said the results were better than his so he didn't think I'd get a letter from Transport. Medical in my pocket now and they have to find me to take it away!

Anyone gone through the hassle with Transport over not passing a medical because of hearing loss?? I gather hearing aids and another test with the condition listed on my licence? Any large amount of time getting used up getting this done? Thanks
