Re: Experience of BCIT Airlines and Flight Operations Program
I did not enjoy. It is a lot to absorb for a low time pilot and at the time it was too much for me to take in being completely new to Aviation. I decided not to complete the program and just do my training at a Private flight school at ZBB. The courses are a lot, usually about 5-8 courses per term p...

hello,
just wondering if TC is taking excel spreadsheet versions of the logbook these days instead of the actual physical logbook? Also has anyone had any issue with their XC time and them being picky about what is considered XC? thanks

SARON latest
Hello,
anyone have any recent info on the latest SARON exams? Any info from this year would be great. Looking to see if the new duty regs are on there and what else they are focusing on these days on the exam? Any info would be appreciated!
Thanks

New Saron Questions?
Hello,
Just wondering if anyone has written the new SARON recently with the new duty regs on it. I know it just changed, just seeing if anyone wrote it this week and how heavily focused it was on duty regs? Also if anyone has intel on the latest questions on the SARON overall please advise!
thanks

Encore's medical exam
Hello,
Just curious what the medical process for encore is? Is it like Jazz where you just pee into a cup or more in depth like a full CAT 1 with a CAME?
Thanks

Pasco Callbacks
Wondering if anyone has been getting call backs from Pasco in the past few months for interviews or ground schools? I know of multiple people whos hours are above and beyond their minimums and don't get any call backs. Not sure what their issue is but I find it strange that Pasco posts every few wee...

Re: Flight School Help - Vancouver Area
I would recommed Pro IFR. They are the best at IFR teaching in the area and ZBB is great for busy airspace experience. YPK always has worse weather than ZBB too. I have had negative experience with Pacific and can confirm that they prioritize their BCIT students over anyone else and will bump your f...

Bring your letter with you, it won't be an issue. If I remember correctly, they had me place colours in order of lightest to darkest shade in place of the Ishihara plates. Its been a while so I don't remember the name do the test. Thanks! I actually ended up doing the lantern test and I have the re...

Air Canada Medical
Hey All, Just a question regarding the medical at AC. Im aware that AC have their own medical examiner other than the one we usually go to for our yearly checks. I have flown thousands of hours with no issues and I am wondering since I was diagnosed with slight color blindness but passed all seconda...

I also heard that the only way to get in the right seat of a Jet-stream is by working in the ramp. Can someone confirm and also how many months/year to be upgraded f/o lately.
Thank's
Last I was told was 8 months at least. Thats even for a guy with over 500 hours.

Max Flight time you can log
Hello I was wondering if there is a max flight time you are allowed to add to your air time when logging in the journey log or your log book. For example if the time taken for start up, taxi, run up, atc delays, lining up behind a few aircraft on the taxiway happens to be 30-45 minutes total, is the...
