Re: Hip Replacement

Thanks Castorero, North Shore! Appreciate the info. We’ll see how the medical goes next month, fingers crossed. I’m about 6 weeks in post-op and the Surgeon just lifted all restrictions, so hopefully that’ll bode well.

Hemochromatosis?

A bit of a long shot, but does anyone else out there suffer from this? It's an hereditary blood disorder that stores iron causing excessively high ferretin levels. The disorder itself is not really the problem it's the effect on internal organs that potentially does the damage. It is extremely treat...

Re: F-35 alternative?

Well perhaps the Atlantic and maritime patrol and fisheries. The Auroras are getting very old as well. Fighter jets doing maritime patrols, do you know how expensive that would be. There are dedicated aircraft for those missions. The Auroras will be replaced by something like the P8, fighters don't...

Re: F-35 alternative?

Seems there is a lot of area here that could use patrolling capabilities. Where will you patrol and what will you be looking for? Well perhaps the Atlantic and maritime patrol and fisheries. The Auroras are getting very old as well. Then there's the High Arctic patrols particularly with all the sov...

Re: PIC TIME

dash8, ya might have to bite the bullet and take their offer to go away for those two months. Quite honestly since were coming up on the spring when numerous sightseeing and skydive operators will be looking for the season, now more than ever would be the best time to take that on. I know how you fe...

It definitely is appalling. Someone will likely take it though. I've spent alot of time with certain companies who know how to get away with everything. Even during times like these.

Skylink does feeder work for the main couriers. You wait for the sort, deliver it, and wait for the return parcels at night to make the sort. Yes you start early A.M. and arrive around 9PM or after. There's usually some type of sleeping accommodations in between.

Lately it's averaged about 4 days/week, but could go as high as 5 if you include stnby. Weekends are usually free and clear with the exception of 1, occasionally 2 stnby weekends/ month.

608 Sqn Belleville 88-93

Basic 1989 TACC

Had to work full time summer jobs to feed my golf addiction after 89. That and I was never considered pilot material.

Currently looking but flown Bandits, 1900D's, and Falcon20's.
