If your ADB says you hold a category 1 medical then it’s a renewal and the CAME will stamp your ADB. If it says something other than Category 1 it’s an ...

Re: Kamloops Student Pilot and Plane missing August 7, 2013
Just a thought....regarding his hours. Maybe he flew a lot of hours before reaching the age at which he could solo. He obviously started young and if he had the ambition and excitement of flying, he may just have flown as often as possible, reached the age to solo and had already accumulated many ho...

Re: Interviews
Thanks for the tips! I can understand the dilemma some face when trying to decide if a job at Jazz is right for them. There can be many factors that will influence if a job is right for someone: spouse? children? mortgage? thought of being an FO at FO wages at 50 yrs old, willingness to move your en...

Interviews
Are there any guys/gals that have interviewed recently and could share some insight into the questions asked? I know the typical stuff, just wanted to hear how it has been recently for individuals. Anything in particular the interviewers seem to lean towards? Good cop/bad cop?
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!

Well, my friend holds an FAA COMM license and was sched to go to the USA to obtain the ATPL as he meets all the requirements now. 3 days before his departure the school told him he needs a TSA clearance, but he was told by TSA that since it wasnt initial training he would not require it. Now the sch...

Re: First Air Interview
Mine was in the 737. I acted as PIC and also as the non-flying pilot for another candidate. They gave a sheet of paper with basic speeds and engine power settings. They wanted to see CRM and basic sop's. I cant remember exactly but I think I did some straight and level, steep turns, a hold and an IL...

Crazy Aviator - you are a little crazy. Anyone can argue another side to something and have it sound convincing. Just plain and simple though - "I am a live human and would prefer to remain a live human" is probably the majority and more realistic. MOST people dont get in the plane ready to do the j...
