I'll bite. I watched the CBC show and nothing was said more than my flight instructors used to tell me when I was learning, don't write everything up. Every place is the same and I assume the pilots know when it should be written up. Most people jump on this form to bitch because they are working on...

Question? So I get my cpl... spend some time finding a job up north to get to the magical 1000 hour mark and then now I can apply to fly a navajo for you? As a fresh pilot like a lot of people I would say no thanks by that time I figure I can progress on to something. Running two crew would allow yo...

well i guess it gets to the point that the computer says "ohh, you want to turn at that angle of bank or degrees per second" it also now says "ohh, you want to land?" it will say "ohh, you wanna leave to cockpit because I don't need to here" is not far behind. Boeing at least makes the plane pilot f...

Airbus make nice aircraft but from what I have been told, their flight manuals no longer have the word "pilot" in them and the person flying is the "operator" They no longer build a cockpit for the pilot but the computer instead so I hope they go broke on the 380. A350 is the trying to steal B777's ...

A long radio call is better than none at all and more experience you build, the better calls will be. As for the closing of a call, if time permits your ident and stations calling is a good thing so that the other pilot can respond to you with your reg rather than "last aircraft calling" situational...

useless hours?
Question to all,
Flying a PC-12 or PA-31, or somthing of that nature as a F/0 lets you log that time as co-pilot time. Does any of that time have any vaule any where else in the world being a single pilot airplane?
and secondly, any one need a 200 hour wonder for captain?
