I do literally the opposite of Tail-Chaser: GFA to get the mechanism that’s driving the weather, TAFs to fine tune exactly where and when the changes are, then METARs to validate the TAFs.
I also 2nd this.

All of them. Always paint a 3D image of the weather. Never rely on only 1 source/type.

Re: The Coolest Flying Jobs In The World!

Dubai is overrated.

Flying a DHC 6 on floats in the maldives. Layovers 2-3 times a week in 7 star resorts that cost as much as 10k-20k a night. Eat caviar and lobster all paid for....

Min: 500hrs and DHC 6 float time.

Re: hiring process

:bear: Hiring has slowed down significantly. Initially 400 new hires expected this year, now projecting 150. Where do you get that information from? They have been advertising 275 pilots for 2018 on Instagram and Aeroemploi job site in QC. Also a friend of mine working there says lately it has been ...

There’ll likely be one on the 26th, but don’t quote me on that.
Cheers mate! I'm currently waiting for a post interview callback for the sim eval. Been two weeks now. I'm guessing somewhere in March or early April if all goes well.

Re: Maldives in a state of emergency.

Nope. Not as far as we are concerned. Tourists are still flowing in and the resorts are still full. Been here for 3 years and this crap happens all the time. Its like a live theater. Everything is a joke here in the Maldives. Hence our inside name of Banana Republic.

Last bids were 2 RJ, 6 Q400, 4 Classic, all YUL.
Hello,

can you please explain what do you mean by that. By new bids do you mean these are the positions open for the GS that is ongoing or for the next one to happen.

Cheers!
