Re: Your experience at BFC or Spectrum
Still waiting. What's your history there? Get fired or something? It's not classy to slam a business online without any details or your personal context. Mods should step in. I've paid for training there and I've seen first hand how business is done at the flight school. Unfortunately it was only u...

Re: Direct Entry Captain Course
You can easily make 100K a year with all the draft available and some good friends in Crew Sched. What sucks is the way management will control things. Flight Ops is full of yes men to management who don't really have much of any backbones (with the one exception). What used to be a public little bo...

Re: Chorus/Ggn/Sky merge
No it won't and we've spoken about this before. Russ Payson and Calin have different motives and a merger would not be beneficial to them. The tone will begin to slowly change around here, it'll be a rough but welcome transition.
Congratulations again.
Congratulations again.

Re: Burlington school?
Disclosure: I work for Spectrum. Unfortunately online reviews aren't very reliable. I am aware of one person who cheated on his qualifying exams and who we refused to give a recommendation letter to write the TC exam. This person then went on to make a number of fake google accounts for the purpose...

Re: Blacked out E175
Yes the EMB is a pain in the ass computer. I personally hate having to explain to people over the PA that we are doing this. Get the question why, well its like we turn the program off and restart it, if it doesn't work then we restart the computer, if that doesn't work we turn off the computer leav...

Re: Burlington school?
The place is a joke, the management is horrible and just want your money. Most unprofessional bunch of crooks out there. Revolving door of flight instructors, and just an overall negative place.

Re: Union at Sky
They keep being told "Just hang on, it'll get better." Meanwhile scheduling has actually gotten worse recently as staffing levels are perpetually too low. The company has been making baby steps to improve conditions, and they have some great aspects (FO salary, vacation weeks, great pilot group, gr...

Re: Union at Sky
Below is a response from Sky Regional to the future union talk at the company. As I am sure you are aware the Air Line Pilot Association (ALPA) created a Sky Regional page recently and is actively seeking support from Sky Regional pilots to join its organization. Over the recent months and years, Sk...
