looking for a video

I am looking for a video that was on here a while ago. It was a bunch of comedians posing as pilots and being interviewed. I believe it was a Kiwi or Aussi tv program (yes - I know, HUGE difference, but my memory is bad at the best of times, and trust me, this isn't the best of times). Thanks for yo...

tattoos and getting hired

Watching Miami Ink today, and I got to thinking (which is a very rare thing indeed) about the tattoos that I want to get. Do you think having a tattoo would affect the likelihood of getting hired at a company like Cathay (or anywhere else for that matter)? Would a low visibility spot (back or should...

Cheers Ed - miss ya already

Since the other topics seem to be focusing on the politics and technicalities of this horrible incident, which is necessary and just, I thought I'd start one just for Ed. Perhaps it will be moved to the wall at a later date, which would be nice. I'd just rather have a place to say and to read how pe...

I don't know what to say.

You will be missed. I wish now that we'd stayed in touch, but I am so grateful that I had a chance to have you in my life. Thanks for the laughs, the beers, and the smiles.

Cheers my friend. My thoughts and tears are for you.

i myself don't know enough about the situation to comment fairly, however the whole deal does make me nervous. i guess i should be thankful that things aren't going to be boring next year. god forbid that i should get comfortable in aviation. :axe:

heard of a guy who has logged 23 hours of actual single engine time in a DC-3. you'd almost have to start a new column in your logbook for "single engine time in a multi-engined aircraft."
seems to be a common story for the DC-3.

i second everything said above. hearing that a higher time fellow can make an error is both comforting (as in "i am not the only person on the planet who makes mistakes") and thought provoking. your honesty is refreshing.

thank you.
