If you're green like you say you are, then you're part of the Position Pay Group and as such not allowed to bid any of the RP positions anyway.

Technically yes, if their seniority will hold it. My guess is there are more than a few people who are already on the Embraer itching to get out of the pay group.

Jazz guys only get top seniority in their own GS. They carry over seniority for pay and vacation purposes only. Previous post may be misleading in a sense because it's not like after 2 years spent at Jazz you're off to AC. You have to wait for your shot at an interview based on your seniority. Guys ...

Where did you hear that? There's nothing on the ops website on this. With the current backlog in training I can't see them trying to put 40 people through in a month.

For those of you interested in working for Air Canada we have just been informed that hiring forecast has been increased to 350 new pilots per year for 2006 and 2007.

It's a first hand information about hte calls, unfortunatelly I don't know anything about course dates past Nov 7.
