Just recieved a collection notice from CollectCorp. They say I owe them for an amount that balances out to 3 consecutive years of medicals. I checked the bank for cancelled checks and they were cashed by the reciever general. What a joke of a system.

OK, Analogy time. Take a formula one race car driver with ten years of proffesion behind him or her. Knows his stuff, reaction is second nature. Now take an intelligent and also adept inexperienced driver and put him or her through "great" race car driver training. No matter how good that training i...

I dont believe experiance(time and real world experiance) means that that makes someone a better pilot. Its all about the training someone recieves and I guess Jazz thinks that their training is good enough that they can take a 250 hour guy and turn him into a good FO. Be glad it is a competition o...

From what I know from past experience with 703 operators, Orca Air would have been the last carrier I would have predicted to have an accident . They have good maintenance, good pay, they DON"T push crews and are a responsible company. If it happened to them it could have happened to anyone out ther...

sonicblue website

Anybody read the http://www.sonicblueair.com website recently? Looks like they want to stay in business to ".....preserve the livelihoods of its nearly 60 employees." Smells like some more BS.

Just trying to figure out why U AC guys are taking the stance you are. I lived through the whole merger thing also, and am interseted in an unbiased story. My previous posts were more in the form of questions and educated opinion than hard fact. I have read most articles, books etc. published on thi...

What is still not clear to me is people saying "the gov. would not let it die". Does that mean more cash injection by the feds? No Way. So the sale was forced by the feds on to Air Canada? No way either. It was Air Canada's chioce, they could have said no. Even though AC had previous talks with CDN,...

This has probably been stated previously. As Air Canada purchased Canadian Airlines BEFORE they went bankrupt and MERGED the two airlines, they should be prepared to face the seniority issue as to be equally fair on both sides. This means 1 for 1. If they wanted their "cake and eat it too" they shou...
