Re: YYZ Assessments Dec 11-13, 2017
Tiramisu He is referring to the old style assessment most of us on this thread have gone through last Dec 11-13. It was the old way of testing. Then in April NC came out with a new style of assessment, essentially putting us in limbo, as a new batch this April went through leaving us behind. Miracul...

Re: YYZ Assessments Dec 11-13, 2017
I believe this is for those who’ve done the old style assessment, and had their phone interview. Anyone who’s not in that category let us know. Also, of those who registered on the doodle, did anyone recieve confirmation of completion?

Re: YYZ Assessments Dec 11-13, 2017
Good morning friends
I’m guessing they’re creating a special training session for us Dec 2017 Assessment writers for Dec 2018. We just have to write the new exam to qualify. I’m writing next week. It was short notice, but it sure is nice to hear from them. GLTA and I hope to see you on course.

Re: YYZ Assessments
Ssauvage87 - When you say you got an invite to the April 5th Assessment for a Fall 2018 course, are you assuming the April 5th Assessment candidates will be invited to the Fall 2018 courses? Just to clarify, from what I've understood from these posts, the May 2017 Assessment writers have been invite...

Re: YYZ Assessments Dec 11-13, 2017
Hey folks,
I also received snail-mail confirmation of my documents, however, in my NAV CANADA profile they have not yet updated the information to reflect this.
Is this the case for anyone else who got their docs back in the mail?

Re: Any updates on YYZ Training
To Anyone reading this: When was your in-person assessment? Mine was during the December 11-13, 2017 session. Anyone in that session get a call for this April’s courses? If you were not in the December assessment, when was yours? Trying to gauge an idea of backlog. Also, for anyone who knows, assumi...

Re: Montreal (YUL) Assessment Session -- Dec 6 & 7
Hi Rodzilla Congrats on passing the test! How many questions did you answer for the listening component? And were you able to answer all the questions for the rest? I just did the YZ assessment. I was unable to finish all the questions on time and only got 7 listening questions down. Wanted to compa...

Re: YYZ VFR Placement
From the last course that passed last year 2 people went to Hamilton, 1 person went to kitchener, 1 went to Sault ste Marie, and one went directly to pearson. That being said with the exception of the person that went to the Sault (because he was previously FSS and worked out a deal) and obviously ...

wSIM Prep
Greetings folks
For anyone who's downloaded the wSIM:
is it really just 8 pages long with 6 sample questions?
Seems like a very small sample size to work with. I'll make it work of course, but I was expecting a much larger document
