Re: Duty time over 17 hours

I agree completely. Just trying to cover my back with something specific in the law. Unfortunately, the law is so badly written, operators are interpreting it as it suits them. TC is not stepping in neither.

Time free from Duty - 704 - Ambulance

Hi, I cannot find the references in the CARs where it states Air Ambulance Operations are exempt from the new regulation with regards to Time Free From Duty: https://www.canada.ca/en/transport-canada/news/2018/12/overview-of-the-new-regulations-on-flight-crew-fatigue-management.html Do you know wher...

North Atlantic Operations

Hi, We often fly from Goose Bay to Keflavik and I was wondering if the flight contingencies described in the NORTH ATLANTIC OPERATIONS AND AIRSPACE MANUAL apply since we are not flying on the NAT tracks? When reaching ETPs, I would most likely turn northbound and I wouldn't have to cross them. thanks!

FAA ATPL

Hi

Would anyone know if the conversion test (Canadian to US) is harder than the full test?

We have been offered to write the conversion one since we already have a Canadian ATPL but we are concerned it could be more complex than the full test.

thanks
