Re: Flair Suspending Growth Plans amid Delivery Delays and Debt
- Flair bookings can be made via 3rd party websites (Expedia/CheapoAir) under WorldTicket (Operated by Flair Airlines Ltd.) - Awfully similar to NewLeaf and we all know how that went - Flair continues to not be able to get ancillary revenue, which is costing hundreds of thousands of dollars (BOB, Ch...

I've heard on and off rumours for the past few months of something happening between these two carriers. I would sure hope 100% of flights operated when half the fleet isn't flying.

Ape can fight the bear. Bring it on! That’s all I’m saying. You guys are not paying pilots properly and it needs to be addressed. Operations to be fully integrated by the end of October. Time to unswoop the swooped routes and crew!
All Swoop employees to be integrated into mainline. Will YHM crew go to YYZ or will Westjet maintain a small base?

Honestly, its not discrimination, more so poor decisions on the crew part.

I'm no industry expert, but maybe flair will be restructuring going forward. I can't see leasing companies wanting to give flair aircraft given all the recent press. They need to figure out how to restructure and keep the business afloat, and if that means halting expansion and rejigging their inter...

Re: 4 Flair aircraft seized
Flair Airlines, a Canadian ultra-low-cost carrier, has had some of its planes seized by the Canadian government due to unpaid fees owed to Nav Canada, the country’s air navigation service provider. The exact number of planes seized is unknown, but it’s believed to be at least three. Flair's planes ...

Re: 4 Flair aircraft seized
The one airline that actually wanted to serve smaller markets will now probably go under. What a shame, flair made a huge difference in the Canadian aviation landscape and lowered prices of airfares for the past 6 years. Their loads are absolutely amazing this week (obviously), but even in the few w...

I would be curious to see passenger loads on Flair flights over the last 12 months, does anyone have any insight? I count about 1/3 of flights today cancelled. None of the flights have been cancelled last minute. MONTREAL (YUL) added to the Summer 2021 destination lineup. I'm gonna guess some of their deliveries got bumped up? or they were waiting for slot approval. Anywho, first ULCC to land in Quebec. Its funny how 2 summers ago, Flair was the little guy and Swoop was the monster. Based on the current rout...
