The only way to attract young people to even think about aviation as career nowadays is when the airlines start paying Pilots more than what he or she could make by driving a truck for example. I got the type done along with my FAA ATPL checkride. The new requirements for FAA ATP requires one to train in a certain category sim before writing the written exam. I opted to do the type on the 737 NG as well because of the package offered at that time.

Are they Hiring FO s on the 737 NG now? Would like to know if they would consider 2300 plus TT, B 737 NG type (0 hours), ATPL, 2000 hrs plus transport category Turboprop.
