The way I see it: 1- A new hire at Jazz (like King Air Guy) doesn't understand the frustration of working for Jazz for so many years and not being able to get an interview at AC because it's cheaper for AC to hire off the street. But after a few years sitting right seat Dash or RJ you'll get the mes...

If your goal is mainline as quickly as possible then go for the smaller airline....and even better if pay is higher and it's in your home town. Jazz is a good place to work but not the fastest way to AC mainline....i've been there almost 6 years and still no interview. I know it must be a hard decis...

Why doesn't AC adopt "STATUS PAY" just like most big airlines in the world (apart the US).

I agree with you uncleron, Jazz guys should have a fair shot at AC just like anyone...unfortunately it's not the way it seems to be nowadays. Personnaly I would say that anyone who would like to work at AC is better off not getting in with Jazz...go to CMA/Georgian or just stay where you are and wai...
