Re: Do the Executives send former ACPA Reps thank you cards

Protonpilot, You evidently know very little about the person or his situation. It is quite evidently you are only getting your information off of forums. I will not reveal any personal information on here. But there is a lot more to the story than what gets posted on anonymous forums. You might not ...

Re: Poor condition of runway surfaces as a cause of plane crashes

Of course never one factor in any accident. Runways too short, too narrow? Runway conditions? It always comes down to decision maker at the controls on whether or not to use any runway. Operators up north fly thousand of flights a year in to gravel runways. Our company operated twin turbines on to g...

Re: Lynx and Flair to merge, AC to buy both

Flair had 4 planes seized. Now, it comes out they owe $67 million in taxes. Don’t think AC needs those a/c that badly. Flair Airlines owes more than $67M in unpaid taxes: report A new report says Flair Airlines owes more than $67 million in unpaid taxes. As reported by the Globe and Mail, Ottawa has...

Re: What's with all the geeks on the street at Pearson

It’s a lanyard, does not mean they don’t support the cause. My ALPA days I never wore it as the ALPA lanyards are just crappy. My preference is clips at the end of the lanyard, not a hard plastic loop. I never wear lanyards usually; only the use a metal clip. I hate lanyards. HOWEVER, during these ...

Re: Former ACPA Reps at Informational Pickets

FYI, there are two accounts using very similar handles. Accountant and acountant. Both are knobs though.

Now to block the second knob.

If you block these trolls you won’t have to see their drivel, unless someone quotes them.

If you DON’T snag it and some else ends up getting hurt or killed due a similar event you will probably be held liable. Always write a snag.

Cover your azz.

Good night, sweet prince. Talk about a callous comment to make. Zero but abolutely ZERO respect given to you for making such a comment Reinhard. Speaking of which: https://fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reinhard_Heydrich Assholes aside, is it me or are we seeing an augment in fatal accidents that happen t...

Re: How long until you hear back from AC?

I would imagine that if the Corp. said “after conducting the background check, we decided not to hire you….” That might lead to complications, i.e. lawsuits, with conducting background checks.

Just use the foe setting, then you don’t have to read moronic, or the aviation safety public service comments from posters. Unless of course someone “quotes’ the parties on your foe list.

Negotiations

Take note AC ALPA. The ILWU workers won’t stand for vague contract language. Matter of fact, their membership is afraid to walk the walk. I would hazard a guess that they don’t stand for DRAFT pigs either. https://stocks.apple.com/Ats4wirT1RAqWfcQjpDHk-Q P.S. No god damn concessions! I am not giving...

Re: Air Canada vs WestJet

Your friend needs to look at 1 fact and take 2 seconds to make their decision. In recent years, how many Westjet pilots have left for AC??? Hundreds or more. How many AC pilots have left for Westjet? Zero There is a reason for this. On the other hand, you can look at the starting salary of $55k at ...

Re: Denying Overtime

Every time one our peers comes in on a day off for VO they are going to end up costing the rest of us money. The Draft pigs always have an excuse for their greed. Some even say that by them flying for double pay they are helping the rest of us. They are a cancer to pilot unity. Other pilots sit back...

Re: Schedule satisfaction

There is no ‘satisfaction’ score using PBS. The current version of PBS allows the aforementioned ‘unstacking’. It is a real dogs breakfast . A more senior pilot could ask for days 1,2,3 off and for pairings A,B,C only to see a more junior pilot, who did not ask for any of those days off nor those pa...

Crew constraints …

… is beginning to cause delays and cancellations the past few days at big red. It would appear that angering pilots by removing perks and releasing a poorly spliced YouTube video by the CEO is not the way to entice said pilots to work on their days off.

WestJet CEO joined bargaining table after strike notice on May 15 night 9 months late? l,,.png Translation: "I want to intimidate you in person" ? I see the translation as “ my negotiators couldn’t break you. I had better show up, because I am the only one who can authorize higher wages”
