My 3500 hr friend got on. I guess there is hope for us lower time pilots

I know a 3500-3600 hr guy. 1000 hrs jet experience though.

I heard that Skyservice is looking for the corporate side of things in YYC? Anybody have any solid info on this?

What time and/or experience are people getting WJ interviews with as of late?

What are some problem people have encountered during the phone screen/written test/panel interview, that may have lead...

I love it! As a passenger it is very true, YYC is a great connection or destination. As well I will give credit to those people in the white cowboy hats, always friendly and amazing ambassadors for Calgary and Canada! YYC should be proud.

AirSprint flies very little if any charter. As well they do zero oil patch work. I'm still unaware of the mins they are looking for, but Contrail req's are not required. They may want that kind of time but not because Contrails says so.

I dont fly a 737 but i do fly a jet with FMS. Our VNAV gives us a "Top of Descent" Alert about 12 miles before the VNAV actually captures. We usually ask for descent and arm the VNAV at this point. 12 miles later the descent is started. Which is usually less than 2 minutes. Hope that helps.

D Pig, I normally fly at 410 and higher. It's not always smooth. I actually like WestJet giving reports of a smooth ride, I then know what to look forwrd to as I'm in my climb.
