CFC is a small place. The instructors that I know there are great, really fun group of people and very personable. I rented there for a summer and the planes were great and availability was never an issue. Ron is a good guy with lots of experience. What I have heard about pro is that they have a fan...

Well I didn't follow my plan and I'm actually sober... Canucks suck, I hate the wild. Now I'm thinking about what I'm going to eat for breakfast tomorrow. Thing is I can't have cereal because I used all the milk for the pancakes this morning.... No aviating tomorrow either...

Ahhhh, thats a big negative on the whole aviation thing today... Just got back from a walk along the beach, when I say that out loud it makes me feel like I'm 50 years old. I think I'm going to go to the Canucks game tonight and get black out drunk to make up for that comment... Go nucks!

Whats going on this morning

I'm at home and bored out of my tree. I decided to live a little and am cooking pancakes for breakfast instead of my usual cold cereal. What are you all up to? I may post some pancake pics soon...

...and in the mean time, the price of gas at the pumps is going up, up, up....
If you can fork out that kind of cake then I'm sure the last thing on your mind is the price of fuel. That would be like someone buying a 150K car and worrying about the cost of insurance.

That sure would be an interesting experience. I wonder what is going through ones mind when all that is happening?

they're somewhere taking remedial crosswind landing training? I liked that one. When I was instructing I was always amazed by how many students I would tell to read the flight test standards and they still wouldn't. Then I would give them a current copy and they would still show up having not read ...

Do it on something cheaper and slower if its been 10 years. Also find somewhere that has some sort of sim and fly the crap out of that before you hit the plane again.[/code]

You'll have your BEST chance of getting hired where you did your rating. Most places don't like hiring class IV's that they don't know. If you do your rating somewhere, then stay with them until you have your class III. Thats just what I've seen in the past.

For the sake of argument assume that the center of the earths mass is in the geometric center of the earth, and through some engineering miracle the tunnel was directly through the center of everything... I just think it would be strange to be standing at the other side of the hole and catch a bowli...

This is a thinker

Here is a stupid question that has nothing to do with aviation for you all to wonder about. Say it was possible to dig a hole directly through the center of the earth and out the other side, a perfectly straight and plum hole. Then you were standing on one side and dropped a bowling ball into the ho...
