From what I remember of the MET section, I found there was alot of GFA questions.

The flight planning wasn't to bad. Plan a trip from A to B. With some questions on time, distance, winds, and comm failures.

My hours are 1100, with 300ME PIC. I was just wondering if you guys can name some good charter/medevac companies in the YVR area...

Morrisburg is a nice airport. I go in almost weekly. There is also a pretty neat park near by, that has full scale models of dinosaurs. From the air, some are hard to see since alot of it is on a trail in the bush.

Picture it like this: You DON'T want to land!! Bring the plane as close as you can to the runway without touching down. Once you know you can make the field, your power should be cut. With no power the airplane will want to go down. You don't want it to. Keep holding it up by applying back pressure....

I do alot of flights into YUL airspace, usually on itineraries, and once i didn't get a code, and I had asked over the radio, and the controller gave me one, didn't seem to have a problem with it. I guess it all depends on the controller and how nice he wants to be. :smt062

Stay instructing at least for a little more(maybe around 1000). Although it would be great to get right seat in a larger airplane, since you won't be logging PIC time, it will take you that much longer to get those ATPL's done.

I have a college certificate in aviation, but I know that doesn't mean much in this day and age. I'm willing to get a degree in something other than aviation, i just figured that might be the best way to go. Basically, I want a degree to look more attractive to the airlines when the time comes, and ...

I don't see why everyone is knocking instructing. It's not so bad, its not as frustrating as people think, although it can be at times, but most of the time it is alot of fun. I agree the money isn't the greatest, but it is a great way to put in your time. I have flown up to 8 hours a day, and 35 ho...

Apparently, the country of Kazakstan is trying to sue him...Sacha Baron Cohen is a genius. Most people don't belive this about him, but he is a practicing Jew, and has a university degree from Cambridge. His humor is extremely underrated.
