Re: Mount Royal Engine Failure

It is also considered prudent and in my mind a responsibility to those on board, to land at a airport where there is the emergency equipment/medical facilities to handle the worst case scenario if things do escalate, not to mention a longer/ wider runway. I think the crew did a great job getting on ...

Mount Royal Engine Failure

Was flying into YYC a few weeks ago and heard an airplane with an engine failure going into Olds/Didsbury. CADORS 2012c1792. It looks like one of thier brand new twins.....Guess they cant maintain alt on 1 if they choose Olds to land at? Interesting......i thought they got rid of the old Cougars and...

Re: Regional 1

Great place to make some money and build some time. No training bonds but if you are any kind of person, stand up to your side of the handshake and put in a year or whatever agreed upon. Great OPS manager and a relaxed atmosphere, make sure you want to do the overseas and if not, dont waste your tim...

Re: Mount Royal ends aviation program

Sounds like thier tough times continue. Have not been around there in years but sounds like thier old CFI (yes, with no IFR rating) either got run out by the chair of the program or had enough. Too bad for the students who would like to get done and get out and start looking for jobs as the industry...

Hello Homebuildt Cub, Did you manage to stop by Mount Royal College this summer? If so, how was everything? I managed to stop in a few weeks ago. Seems they have done renovations to the hangar finally, which is a big improvement from the years i went there. It wasnt a great day for weather, but no o...

Re: Mount Royal College

As a past grad i know they have been talking about a degree for years. With all these new jobs on avcanada and a recent CFI change (i think they were posting on here a few months ago) being posted i figure it might be hard enough to keep the 2 year diploma running smoothly with any kind of continuit...

Re: Buffalo airway Need some Advice..thanks
but is a 7 on, 7 on schedule(no, thats not a typo) really worth it for 2000 a month? Sorry, I forgot, you start making more once you become a flight attendant. And you will.
Do the math on that schedule! There is a difference between putting your time in on the ramp and g...
