I would think that a conscious decision to break the law is required in order to be considered criminal. In the example of the kid being charged for street racing, he made a decision to speed. I cannot believe that this pilot got up that morning and decided to fly a plane with no fuel on board. I al...

SnJ if you have all this proof that the company is breaking rules and hasn't changed in all this time, what's stopping you. Come on man, shit or get off the pot. Or are you all bark and no bite like i'm sure most of the readers on this board believe. :?

1900D Field Lengths

What is a typical field length required for a 1900D? For those of you that fly one, what is a comfortable length to operate out of? What about if the strip is gravel, and what effect does anti-skid have?

Talked to the guys at the Esso, they said the guy landed on 13 and just kept rolling. He slammed on the brakes at the last minute and then rolled off the end. I guess he tried to crank it back abournd to the runway and then the nose sank into the mud and the prop struck the ground. The esso guys sai...

Hey Cat, SD is a personel friend, we're just ribbing each other a little. I'm too have enjoyed having transport probe every orfice they can and even try to find a few I didn't know I had. I'm well aware of the ability transport has to turn the smallest item into an excuse, I was just looking for an ...

Type Approval & your OC

Does anybody know how long it takes on average for the paper pushers at TC to add a new type of AC to an existing OC. I believe they tell people 30 days, I'm wondering what the reality is.

IMHO I think someone should give Buzz a set of cement shoes and throw him out of an A340 over the North Atlantic. That guy has done more harm than good as far as I can tell.

I looked into that recently, most of the companies down there will hire Canadians but most of them fly dash 8's and want you to have a type rating or previous experience. As you can imagine I think they probably get their fair share of applicants so they can afford to be choosy. I you're still inter...

I guess ultimately I'm trying to decide between 12500 time and turbine pic time. There are other factors that lean me towards the king air job (significant other) but at the same time the 1900 job would likely improve my overall hapiness. I might be getting ahead of myself anyway, I haven't heard fr...

Need Advice

Heres the options: A King Air Captain for a mediocre company with no scheduled days off etc., however a fairly high salary. B FO on a 1900 for a great company for half the salary however, scheduled days off, unionized and benefits. I'm kindof at a loss and not too sure which way to go. What would yo...
