Re: No more 24 month PPC 703
Modi13, you are correct. I was going to post the same thing. Doesnt mean that it is good for 24 months, just that you can do the training 90 days in advance but keep the same date of expiry.

I guess we agree to disagree. Not every aircraft is the same and I am sure that some aircraft it is not required (every light to med turbine i have flown it was required). It comes down to pilot preference. I just follow SOP's and AFM's. Not trying to nitpick but if a guy breaks SOP's on pitot heat ...

YES, you can see you nav lights in the daylight. I have parked in PSP in 40 degree C with the sun blazing in my eyes and I still can see the Nav lights on (APU or GPU was on). Oh ya, I had the pitot heat on when we left (at 40 degrees). Why? because thats SOP and the last time I checked the higher y...

Ya pilots dont look at a map enough but when flying into high density airspace you can file one thing and get a completly different route. Best to look up recently used routes on fltplan.com or flightaware or ask. Nothing worse then spending 30 min trying to figure out waypoints from some clearance ...
