Re: Sunwing Interview Process

Oddly.... I received a call for an interview. I am very happy but I say "oddly" because didn't think it would happen. Can anyone who's had a recent interview experience PM me please? I've always been hired by word of mouth or on merit through demonstration of skills. I don't have a lot of interview ...

Re: 2018 Pilot Hiring

Just as an indicator, my app is still in "New" Status which according to Jobvite means that they haven't even opened the application yet. I applied mid April just before the portal closed.

Re: 2018 Pilot Hiring

On the hiring note... Does anybody know how long it takes them to even look at a resume or how to interpret resume status? Just wondering... 3 weeks applied and it doesn't even look like they opened my file. The message page is on the same default message as day one with an empty link to check for s...

Re: 2018 Pilot Hiring

Thanks for that info!

Too bad about the internal referral but maybe I can be one of the few they consider without. Can't make up knowing someone.

Always open to getting to know new people of the Sunwing pilot type though. Drinks on me?

Re: 2018 Pilot Hiring

Wow! Thanks for the quick reply! Yeah it seems that opinions are mostly positive on this forum vs places like glass door etc. which have very negative write-ups about the company. I'm not opposed to deploying at all, would likely enjoy it actually for many reasons. The deployments also seem like nic...

Re: 2018 Pilot Hiring

What is considered senior these days?

Are there a lot of long term pilots?

If so, do these pilots have an ok family life considering the deployments?

Just curios... looking at the CA, it doesn't seem too bad.

Applications 2019

Just wondering,

Has anyone who has submitted an application in December 2018 or January 2019 seen any movement on their application? Interview requests, calls etc. ?

I realize there are a lot of swimmers right now and the whole GGN thing.

Re: pfo?

What are the kinds of things that could trigger a PFO from Encore? They seem to hire a lot of low time pilots so I would assume that someone with a lot of flight time, and similar flight time to people that they have hired should be relatively safe. Assuming the online testing went well, where could...
