Re: Cargo TA
ACPA is the reason that I'm getting ZERO dollars while all our fellow colleagues in Porter, Jazz, Westjet, Transat are on wage subsidy. Don't tell me about long term impacts to "our association" when it's people like you that sold out the juniors. You're not paying my mortgage; in fact, you and 500...

Re: Corona Virus
When I’m in the bathroom at the airport and I see like three people in a row take a piss and leave without washing their hands, I think no f*cking wonder it’s spreading so fast. People are so ignorant, lazy, and complacent about it. Well actually unless they had oral sex with a carrier of the virus...

Re: Who will represent us?
You guys who think DOH is not an option are out to lunch....it is very much an option.......there will be fences, most likely grouped in with Rouge for several years before being allowed to move mainline.... but still integrated into same pilot list, and most likely DOH. Also all TS crew or at least...

Who will bid the A220?
Just trying to get a feel for what the Seniority is gonna look like on the 220, seems like a lot of people are interested, but who will ultimately make the move....it will be the lowest paid out of the fleet, yet definitely the highest tech new piece of kit....many have already used the NB bid for t...

Re: DOH merge.
I think some of the junior AC posters need to heed the words of the more experienced AC posters here. At the end of the day when it comes time to vote, I need to see the big picture. You don't have the big picture now, but you're already jumping to conclusions and making outlandish demands. If the ...

Re: DOH merge.
Above post is spot on, how would a Transat pilot be able to complain about being allowed to hold his same seat out of Senority, with a pay raise? Obviously they should have to join the bottom of the list at AC...they started working here after everyone else!! I also don’t agree with these fences pro...

I thought it was a win-win, crew were ok, 300 for a q400, and one idiot rampie fired!

Re: Working at Air Canada if you don't drink
Lots of guys drink, lots of guys don’t. I personally hardly ever drink on layover anymore, I’ve never had anyone care about what my plans were. It’s a non issue.

I ask myself that sometimes, LOL......for me it was a personal choice, but I'll always speak highly of Transat.

Hiring isn't slowing at AC in 2 years.
Transat is a great place to work, if anyone is considering, lots of people making great careers there, great planes, beautiful destinations, I enjoyed my time there.

Re: Career First Officer at AC by design?
This is a typical 12 year pay B777 pay stub. Some B777 FOs are slightly higher because they are on "grandfathered" pay from the previous contract. This year end stub reflects a November YYZ-HKG overtime trip and another OT trip earlier in the year. Those that do a lot of overtime can make a lot mor...

Re: Air Canada and Westjet...what a joke
I guess I should clarify I’m not a pot head nor have I smoked in almost a year, but yeah I guess I am guilty of taking a chance from time to time. I like to have an occasional drink as well, but I don’t ever indulge the day before a pairing. I also dont consume alcohol on a layover, other then a soc...

Re: Air Canada and Westjet...what a joke
Well I was going to have a nice spliff with my wife and watch a funny movie before bed and be fresh up for duty. Guess i'll legally slam 18 beers 12 hrs before my duty instead. Hopefully I don't smell like PBRs during my crew briefing. :goodman:     If you do...
