Is that true?
I also read in another post earlier that they're giving LOA's rn?
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks

Best cruise altitude for CL604?
New guy on CL604 here.
Wondering if someone with good experience on a CL604 could tell me the airplane's favourite altitude to cruise at? (perf/fuel burn ratio)
Not talking about LRC flight over the Atlantic, rather around 2 hours air time? and 4hrs?
Thanks.

Simple question:
How long does one have to be based as a pilot or ground crew or DX in YRT before being able to be based in YWG full time?
We're talking new pilot. (300 hrs)
Any info is appreciated.

FANTASTIC place to work at! Like any, it has its positives/negatives, but if you're looking for a place where you'll be valued as an employee, then this is it. Pension plan, group health benefits, employee seniority recognition program, and other good stuff. Only thing though is that the level of en...

Re: IMAGES OF THE WORLD THIS WEEK: DEATH AT 32,000 FEET
Let alone the bad taste of such a picture, who in their right mind would think of pulling out a camera and take a picture of this?
And even worse, sell it to the media?
Probably the same kind of ppl that googled "Steve Irwin death" to try to see his last moments...

1) I never flew floats. 2) I greatly appreciate the efficiency of reading winds on the water. Reading winds on water surfaces should be taught in Flight School. If it isn't, it should at least be passed on to new pilots while line-indoc'ing. It's a great tool when the waters are open, provided there...

Back to the thread! It's Bolton Air. AKA Skynorth Minis**c Place is "Investing"... And no, a 1900 C or D isn't a money maker in Manitoba. It will only work in companies where there is some kind of health contract involved. (In other words, the airline gets paid whether there is 1 pax or 19. Then you...

Circuit pattern with altitude restriction?
Upon arriving yesterday, we switched to arrival control (IFR flight) and we called the field in sight through about 10000ft. Controller gave us clearance to descend to 3500ft and told we are to follow traffic to be #2. When closer in, we called "the traffic in sight". Controller then gave us clearan...

I agree with you neilaroberts. We don't have to look far, just check out the Railroad world in Canada. TC has implemented the SMS system there for a while and safety has declined since. Don't believe me? Check this out: http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20070209/wfive_derailments_0...

Hey DEFPOTEC, from what I can gather (from speaking with a US airport manager) it's very similar to the canadian CRFI. ie 20 mU's is equivalent to a CRFI of .20 in canada. In other words, put a dot in front of your MU number and you have the equivalent CRFI. 20 MU's and below is no breaking, 20-30 i...
