Re: YYZ hiring schedule September Feast

You won’t know for sure until you get the results, they may still be going through the interviews. Don’t keep your hopes down but be prepared for whichever results.

I got my results within a week after the interview.

Best of luck!

Safe to assume that day one is interviews.

Even safer to assume that you can dress dapper both days :)
Thanks for the answer!

Re: YYZ Assessment (Feb 2019)

For those of you who attended today's boot camp session, could you kindly let me know if you had your interviews today or if you have it on the 2nd day? My workday site says that we will be given study materials on the 1st day instead of the 2nd day. I'd like to know so that I know when to wear my i...

Medical Exam Minimum Vision Requirements

Hey everyone, I was reading through ATC subreddits and realized I forgot about vision requirements and am wondering if anyone knows what the minimum vision requirements are? I read something about someone having -5 and -5.25 and that he/she was safe since he/she is right on the limit of +/-5 diopter...

Re: Boot Camp Invitation (FEAST process)

Also interested and want to ask how the 2 day boot-camp is held (ex. interviews on second or first day?) From what I was told, they take 10 of the 30 (I heard sometimes it's less) who got the boot-camp invitations. 10 out of 30? No kidding every step of this application sounds absolutely crazy. I h...

Re: Boot Camp Invitation (FEAST process)

Congrats to those of you who made passed FEAST - it is not the easiest assessment :) I took FEAST in December last year and received an invite to the bootcamp which happened mid January in YEG. I received an IFR offer about 3-4 weeks after the bootcamp. We are not allowed to disclose much informati...

at least with FEAST you guys move forward fairly quickly. Re: YYZ Assessment (Feb 2019)

I don't think that changes. I think if you began your application with the old system it gives you YYZ, while if you began you application process with the new workday system it's only NTL. I'm not sure about it though. I didn't get any updates or offers yet though I hope it's soon. I'd still like ...

Re: How is VFR FIR assigned?

For national courses, the FIR you are assigned is based on operational needs of the company. You would be told beforehand if it is a national course. Yes could be sent across the country if there was a need for that - no, they most likely won't tell you where in the country you're going until the e...

Re: How is VFR FIR assigned?

I do not understand your question. By FIR I am assuming flight information region? When you apply, you are applying to the FIR you live in unless you're planning on moving. As for VFR vs IFR - that is decided after your final panel interview. I think it is probably a combination of how well you sco...

How is VFR FIR assigned?

Does anyone know how the FIR of VFRs is decided after training?
Are trainees given priority based on grades or do they randomly assign FIRs?

I heard sometime between the end of March Break and the end of March. If you don't hear from them by then, you might not have been high enough up on the list. But wow! That was a brutal test. Re: The odds of making it

Hey,

From what I gathered from past posts, they invite 150 or 250 (not sure if one of the posters had a typo) applicants for FEAST and try to take 30 onto the next step.

Im taking the FEAST on Sunday. Good luck!

Hey, I'm an applicant myself at the moment. Recently got invited to take the FEAST and had the same questions as you. I asked their talent requisition team and they said that there is no essay component anymore and according to someone in training right now, if you're applying for YYZ, there isn't a...
