Re: You know you are in a crew house when ...

Crew house #1. A squirrel came up out of the air vent, looked at me and ran down the hall to go back down the air vent in the bedroom. Was kinda funny till winter and the furnace kicks in and I discovered his bathroom was in the vents too. Crew house #2. You knew the septic tank was full when the fo...

Here's one that will make you giggle, even if it doesn't work. Put this in your local paper: For Sale: one Xbox 360 with 10 games. First $250.00 takes it. I work nights so calls only between 12:00am and 4:00am. Then put their phone number here. It might cost you $25.00 or so, but about the time this...

I had an upstairs neighbor who made a lot of noise once. I snapped when he was throwing firewood out of the back of his truck onto the patio at 6:00 am. I'd go stay at my girlfriend's house and program the TV at my place to turn on at 3:30am on the french channel, really loud. Sometimes he got a por...

Nice work, a little left of centerline though. :D Glad to see no injuries, except for the belly. A lot of the runways in the the US have grooves cut into the asphalt for water drainage, and these act as a great big file when you gear up, and chew the hell out of the belly. Hope that wasn't one of th...

WTF? Are there any hard surfaces in the room you're in? I think ZFD is proof that God has a sense of humor. It's a great place to be from, about 500 miles from in my opinion.

I could have also named this story "Why Grounded isn't allowed to have tinsel on his tree" So here's how things happen. We set up the tree, decorate it with lots of shiny things, and wait for the 3:30am wake up crash when the cat pulls it over. This is followed shortly after with a 4:30 version of t...

A place like Acklands or Princess auto should have what you seek. Look for the steel heavy-duty sprayers. These can be equipped with a couple of battery blankets and a insulated blanket over it all to keep it warm. We keep a few plugged in at the hangar 24/7 and they're plenty warm enough, and they'...

Very interesting reading. The only problem with buying the IL-76 is that Mr. Harper doesn't want closer ties with Russia. At that kind of price tag, I would think that the forces will be scared to use these machines. Four airplanes is really too small a number to consider. There will be accidents, t...

I'm trying to watch a DVD on my TV, from my laptop. I have a Gateway 3200 series with an output on the side for an additional monitor. The TV i just bought has a monitor cable that I plug into.
