Re: Encore Recalls
Check your email and have a wonderful day! 125 Recalls by July 1 Safe to assume those spots will all be filled with mainline pilots? Given the recent round of 400 layoffs and the fact most of them had a fair amount of seniority. Sounds like this is all new guys. This isn't a reduction bid. It's gon...

Some real data on Pfizer vaccine, peer reviewed in The Lancet
This data came out today May 5, 2021. This is what the CDC and FDA use in the states to lift mask mandates and for guidance. I can totally see them lifting the mask mandate as this shows it cuts infection not just symptoms. Let's hope Canada follows. Unlike the uneducated prick who posted that fear ...

Re: Ottawa has agreed to financial relief package for Air Canada, sources say
Nothing for Transat, WJ, Sunwing, etc? Assuming that this is only for AC is that just a big FU to the other carriers or is there a reason that they might have declined financial assistance? I think it's because even Ed Sims himself said he doesn't need loans to help the bottom line in the latest up...

What if everyone gets together and strikes? No more vaccine or PPE that might help them get aid faster.

Re: Is this a joke?
It's disgusting. And an indication that pilot shortage predictions are never accurate. There are some very valid points. The recent reduction in demand has driven early retirements and career changes. The reduction in demand is temporary. When demand comes back airlines may struggle to crew aircraf...

Re: Converting TC SMEL MIFR CPL to FAA License
Unless you have a 4 year degree or some sort of US status, there's little chance. If you do have a 4 year degree, apply to a University if they're willing to hire you as an instructor/teacher under a TN status. It must be a university, not a uni affiliated Part 141 school. I do not think OPT works ...
