Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share
Rovinescu has already said he will honour ACPAs agreement. And Transat does not have a billion dollars... We'll see what happens. No way the deal goes through as was drafted. Actually altiplano, yes they do. Just shy of 600 million in liquid cash, and 400 some Million in cash reserves for non liqui...

Re: Will Westjet survive?
My crystal ball says yes, they will survive. And transat will merge into Air Canada, with rouge going into the sunset. Transat Captains will hold their seats and even become 777 captains. All those who get laid off from AC will only get called back after all the dust settles and only after all the ...

Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share
CEWS will only delay the inevitable : once funds are depleted, and unless the govt extends the program, Transat will not have enough money to survive one month of operating with 0 flights. Bankruptcy will prevail. They will then owe AC the fee by bailing out as they will have declared bankruptcy, an...

Re: A message to all GGN Pilots from a Jazz Pilot
Execs on the negots committee are saying don't count on there being flying in a year from now. Interesting how Ggn management are telling everyone that their seniority can be deferred to jazz when it aint true. I guess they just want to fill the seats until their last day of CPA flying.

Re: A message to all GGN Pilots from a Jazz Pilot
It is clearly a ploy to prevent a mass exodus from leaving for Jazz before the end of the crj CPA until February 2020. I hope my GGn colleagues will have the sense to figure out they are being lied to. Better options to stay at GGn? Tell that to the commuters who won't have any travel privileges lef...

Re: 17 year TA?
It is ludicrous to see that the airline would actually expect their pilots to believe one word of that "chart". Can anyone call BS? How does staying there give employees better employment opportunities! First off, there will be no Air Canada passes for all those who commute. Also, 90% hiring to AC v...
